Signing of the first green electricity pre-purchase agreement for a micro-hydropower turbine between TAPPICO and TEDCO.
According to the Public Relations, Brand, and Social Responsibility Department of TAPPICO, the first green electricity pre-purchase agreement for a micro-hydropower turbine at Qom-Rood was signed between subsidiaries of the TAPPICO and Tedco holdings—specifically, the Caspian Wood Industries Company a subsidiary of (TACICO) and the Hormoz Abdal Water and Energy Supply Company. The signing took place in the presence of Rouhollah SHahidipour and Bahman Salehi Javid, the CEOs of the Tamin Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Investment Company (TAPPICO) and the Tamin Energy Development Management Company (TEDCO), respectively.
Subsequently, the CEO of TEDCO Holding, highlighting the objectives of the first green electricity pre-purchase agreement for the Qom-Rood micro hydro turbine project, stated that SHASTA has charted a brilliant path for energy development in the country a path that is gaining further momentum through the participation and synergy of SHASTA’s other subsidiary holdings.
Davar Nazari, SHASTA’s Deputy for Innovation and Knowledge-Based Economy, also highlighted TAPPICO Holding as a leader in the energy sector. He noted that this valuable agreement between TAPPICO and TEDCO was signed with the support of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology in alignment with the SHASTA CEO’s emphasis on the theme of "moving from imbalance to sustainability."
It is worth noting that, on the sidelines of this ceremony, a contract for a feasibility study on reviving the CHOUKA plant aimed at potentially completing the steam supply chain for electricity and pulp production was signed between the CEOs of Tamin Gostar Novin Group (TACICO) and Hormoz Abdal Water and Energy Supply Company.
